PRE-COMMISSIONING (NEW EQUIPMENT)

New Construction Inspection with full certification as appropriate:
Comprising of stage and final inspections of all items of equipment including handling, drying, piping, rotating machinery, boilers, vessels, instrumentation and complex electrical and intrinsically safe electrical apparatus.

Inspection during site production and installation:
For all site manufacture and installations we can supply on site inspection services to cover the client and standard requirements.

These cover full inspection of site work with inspection of site testing with full certification. These services can be extended to cover witnessing of commissioning and trial tests prior to handover. This is particularly useful for the installation of boiler and chemical plant. It provides assurance that certified items are not damaged during transport / commissioning and are fully installed to manufacturer’s recommendations.

POST-COMMISSIONING (EXISTING EQUIPMENT)

Prior to purchase examinations and assessments for “Second Hand “ equipment:
Using our experienced Engineer surveyor force we can undertake comprehensive examinations of “Second Hand” equipment to ensure it meets clients requirements and is suitable for service.

Authoritative Technical Reviews with advice on inspection intervals:
Where changes are required to Written Schemes of Examination we, acting as the “Competent Person”, are able to provide an authoritative technical review.

Fitness for purpose certification and inspection acting as the “Competent Person”:
Where changes in duties are required we will undertake site inspections of the items followed by design assessment against standard or specific requirements to ensure fitness for purpose is established.

Re-validation of items following modification or repair:
Provision of assistance with repair procedures prior to repairs being undertaken. Prior to modification, a design assessment will be undertaken to ensure compliance. The item will be re-certified in accordance with standard or specific client requirements on satisfactory completion.

Validation of Safe Operating Limits for uncertified equipment:
We will provide a design assessment and on-site examination, together with examination of plant records, in order that we can establish the safe operating limits.
