International journeys for Road Tankers and Tank Containers carrying hazardous substances are governed by ADR/RID/IMO regulations.

It is a requirement of these regulations that inspections are carried out by an approved authority.

HSB Inspection Quality is an approved body authorised by the Department of Transport for the verification, periodic inspection and certification of new and existing Road Tankers and Tank Containers used for the carriage of hazardous substances by road, rail and sea.

Certification issued covers IMDG, ADR/RID and CSC.

We are also approved by the Department of Transportation of the United States as an agency for approval and certification of new tank construction and periodic testing/inspection of Department of Transportation (DOT) specification IM101 and IM102 Intermodal (IM) portable tanks.
